The new way to spend your day at the beach! The New Balance Beach Run AUH presented by Daman Activelife is a fun- filled family beach run suitable for runners of all abilities.

The different run options of 1.8k, 3.6k and 7.2k mean that there’s a run suitable for everyone whether you’re an avid runner, lacing up your shoes for the first time or just looking for a fun activity for you and your friends or family.

That’s not all; runners, supporters and beach goers can come and join in the carnival-like atmosphere in the Festival Village. Packed full of food, music, entertainment and activities, it’s the only way to spend your weekend.

All runners aged 6 and over will receive a race bag inclusive of a special New Balance race t-shirt. Please note under 5s will not receive a T-Shirt.

Got Talent Live

Marina Mall Abu Dhabi is set to welcome a host of international TV stars for seven-days of amazing performances during their spectacular show, “Got Talent Live”, which kicks off from January 14-21. The show will feature the winners and runners-up from previous series of the TV show that wowed audiences around the world. Shows held twice daily at 4.30pm and 7.30pm.

The Terry Fox Run

On Friday January 19, walk, run, ride or roll to help raise money in the fight against cancer and honour the legend that was Terry Fox. The Terry Fox Run is free and open to all participants. Simply click here to register. Participants are encouraged to donate if they are able to.

Cycle for Health UAE

Cycle for Health continues on the last Saturday of every month at Zayed Sports City. Presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Health Authority – Abu Dhabi in partnership with Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Center, this free family event in Abu Dhabi is a great way to stay fit and healthy in the new year.

The Let It Snow winter wonderland returns to Yas Marina!

This December, Yas Marina is transforming the marina into a dazzling festive winter wonderland and will welcome the festive season with two weekends packed with magical events for the whole family to enjoy!

For the whole month, from December 8 until January 2, visitors to Yas Marina will discover and incredible winter wonderland, with artificial snow, a beautifully decorated tree, garlands and glittering lights alongside the promenade.

Run under the lights on one of world’s most iconic golf courses, Abu Dhabi Golf Club, where runners will complete six laps set across the garden course with bit of pavement and sand to navigate through.

There is also a three lap’s option and an one lap run for those out for the fun and experience of running under lights on one of the world’s most iconic golf courses.

The Westin Abu Dhabi charity run supports the 2017 Road to Awareness fundraising campaign by Starwood Hotels & Resorts. The race promises to be a unique evening with fun activities for Children and adults at The Westin Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Striders Half Marathon and 10K

Yas Waterworld

The 2017 Striders Half Marathon and 10K features a fast mostly flat picturesque IAAF measured course around the iconic Yas Island key landmarks. The Half Marathon starts and finishes at Yas Waterworld. The runners run out and towards the Yas Plaza, then onto Yas Marina, before turning and heading back past Ferrari World onto the Yas Mall VIP Ramp and out into the greater environs of Gateway park before turning and making there way back to Yas Waterworld.

The 10K run start and finishes at Yas Waterworld and starts at 6:45am. Runners will head to the Marina Area and back.

Join Cycle for Health UAE is held on the last Saturday of every month until next May. The first Cycle for Health UAE session will be all about “Love Your Heart” for World Heart Day.

Cycling is a fun and healthy way to get the whole family involved in exercise to reduce the risk of chronic illnesses, such as cardiovascular disease (CVD), which is the leading cause of death in the UAE. And here’s your chance to do your bit for World Heart Day and pledge to ‘Love Your Heart’ by pedaling your way to heart health.

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will be hosting health screenings, exercise information sessions and healthy heart cooking demonstrations, while other fun activities include a learn-to-ride program, bouncy castles, and a healthy food truck. And don’t worry if you don’t have a bike; Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will also be providing complimentary bikes and helmets for participants – but you’ll have to register first.

The event is presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Health Authority – Abu Dhabi in partnership with Healthpoint and Imperial College London Diabetes Center.

The Smurfs Live on Stage
